Kodi is definitely a great compliment to your home theatre system when it comes to watching movies, television shows and listening to your music tunes.  It can also be used as a neat way to check the temperature outside and even what the temp will be in the next coming days as well.

With just a few simple steps you can access the current weather from all over world.  You can as well add multiple locations that you keep up with so that you will know the weather at those locations as well with the click of a button.

Whether you need the details for Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New York or others in the United States; or London, Birmingham and Manchester in the United Kingdom.  It really doesn’t matter as you can access this information world wide including Germany, Russia, China and others.

To add this to your Kodi setup just follow the steps below:

  • Launch Kodi.
  • Click System..
  • Click Weather.
  • Look for and click Service for weather information.
  • Choose Yahoo! Weather.
  • Once you see that it shows Yahoo! Weather click Settings.
  • Choose Location 1 and type in the city that you would like to add.
  • Choose any other location and repeat this step until you have entered all the cities you would like to save in your Kodi setup.

That’s it!  Now you can easily find out what it is doing outside.  Once you back out back to the main Kodi home screen you will find a Weather menu as you scroll though.  If you click it you will find the current conditions in your area, or the area you chose to display in the Settings tab earlier.

There is a sidebar on the left of the screen in Kodi that you can generally scroll or browse to that will bring up a menu.  In this menu you will be able to change the location you are currently getting information about in the Weather tab.

I have also included a brief and to the point video below that will easily show you how to set this up with no problems.

Depending on your Kodi version the steps may vary or be incapable of all the steps mentioned.  To make sure you have no issues use Kodi 16 Jarvis when you are using Kodi and your add-ons.
